Adopt a Mission serves as a facilitating outreach between the business community and the disadvantaged community, in order to move the disadvantaged away from dependency to self-sustainability.   Adopt a Mission serves as an outreach at grass roots level to compliment a platform and basic structure from which business and Church can build on and develop.

Due to the lack of infrastructure, support and resources in the disadvantaged communities, Adopt a Mission promotes an entry point from where interested parties are able to execute their venture/s in an underdeveloped country, like South Africa.  We at Adopt a Mission believe that the underdeveloped communities is where the future for development and business lie.  Adopt a Mission, as a faith-based organization, believes that unless NPO's, NGO's, and faith-based organizations (such as ourselves), paves the way for businesses, no success can be achieved for either parties.  Only through the cooperation of all parties, and participators, can this goal be achieved.

(Past ventures in other disadvantaged communities presently on backburner due to lack of resources and interested parties, but still a part of Adopt a Mission as a faith-based outreach.)

MCX Casting (Mia Bellingan)
On behalf of Adopt a Mission and all its members, Albert Wassenaar (Founder Member), would like to welcome Mia Bellingan of MCX, and applaud her commitment to the community of Brooklyn and Rugby, and for her support in our venture.

A thousand delegators do not make one leader, true leadership is when we act upon our beliefs.

From dependency to self-sustainability.

Adopt a Mission Men's Group

(Pending approval from the FGBMFI as a venture of starting Chapters in the affluent as well as the disadvantaged communities.)

Adopt a Mission believes that all men are accountable first to God, and then to each other, regardless of their position in life.  Adopt a Mission prides ourselves in serving, and in doing this, we believe in complimenting other individuals, groups, businesses, as well as Christian organizations in the upliftment of mankind in general.

It is not a viable option just to feed a person or family with food and/or the gospel, unless individuals and/or groups are not actively involved in the man as a whole. Our Men's outreach is to bring these two spheres together with  bridge-building by utilizing the Gospel.  Businessmen reaching out to businessmen, and businessmen reaching out to the disadvantaged.

An example would be the Men's Breakfast which Adopt a Mission hosts using unemployed members (ladies) cooking and serving the breakfast.
